About Us

Matt Borkowski, Owner

Matt has been remodeling kitchens and bathrooms around the valley for the last 10 years. His focus is to offer the client, not only an incredible kitchen, bathroom or shower remodel redesign and execution, but also to provide a phenomenal service experience. The goal is to leave the client feeling she received everything expected and much more. It is a "wow" experience he is after at all times with his clients. It is only when the client feels this way will he/she tell friends and family about the experience with Boomer Renovations. Boomer Renovation culture is centered around Matt’s extreme focus on this subject.

Matt is married with 4 children, 5 dogs, 4 cats and is a member of Christ’s Church of the Valley. On weekends you can find he and his wife hiking on Camelback and Piestewa Peak.

Brian has a 30+ year background in building, starting early in life with his father's Electric contracting company. Later, as a licensed electrician he traveled throughout the country working with several of the largest retailers in the country.

His role with the company is maintain a standard of excellence at every jobsite. He is there to insure that work is completed as close to perfection is possible. All of the key points in the remodeling process do not move forward until Brian has eyes on the craftsmanship, gives his blessing, and only then can work move forward to the next step.

Serena Petersen, Operations Manager

Serena, a former biology teacher at Sunnyslope High School, is in charge of keeping the machine operating smoothly and efficiently. She is basically a task master, doing the work of three people.

Vendors need to be paid, new employees must get hired, oriented and trained, and the IRS and various insurances general contractors work with must be informed of the workings of our company.

There are no unimportant tasks, but the tasks are many, and Serena holds the business together as operations manager.
